Why Water Taxi?
Seabird is water taxi specialist that transports passengers from Freetown to Lung Airport. Freetown sits on a peninsular on the western side of Sierra Leone by the Atlantic ocean while Lungi Airport sits across the peninsular. Accessing it by road is aproximately 186km while the boat crossing takes about 25min.
Price $45
Seabird tickets are competively priced at $40 per passenger. We have a fleet of new boats ranging from small sizes to 95 seaters. We employ only qualified personnel and take the safety of our passenger very seriously.
Pasengers can opt to be picked up or dropped at their hotels for $5 one way.
Airport Service
We have boats scheduled for all commercial flights flying in and out of Lungi International. We are in constant communication with the airport and provide services to cover flight delays and any other unforeseen events.
Online real-time booking system
Our site is HTML 5 compatible and as such can be used on all mobile platforms. We are the only Water Taxi in Sierra Leone that offers you online booking facility.
Secure Payment
We accept credit cards and Paypal. These are both done Paypal portal. Please note when paying the invoice will have a UK registered company name, A2O Technology who maintain and run the website.
